A computer has many pieces that all work together and not all computers are created equally. I love to have a computer that does what I need it to without any issues, and I would assume that’s the same for anyone that uses one. If you don’t mind your computer being a little bit slower when you're checking emails, it would be easier to buy a cheaper computer without breaking the bank. If you’re on the opposite end of the spectrum and will spare no expense for the sake of performance, the specs of the computer are extremely important. You can spend a very large amount of money and gain marginal performance upgrades. Sometimes, newer doesn’t mean better.
